Our Story
Established in 2018, and located in London, Ontario, Canada. With owners Brock Ryan and Stevie Boy starting up in Old East Village in the fall of 2018, they quickly expanded adding talented artists Matthew Leroux and Cortney Foster to the tattoo crew. With Hunter Richards having almost a year under his belt, and apprentices Shannon Rumble and Dylan Specht at the gate, the Nitty Gritty family continued to grow.
In 2022, Nitty Gritty opened a second location in West 5 featuring a bar & barber shop. The team added talented barbers Cormac Elmes and Jose Interiano to the team. Now having two locations and a growing business, the team brought in Jeff Thammavongsa at the helm as the shop manager. With a motivated focus and creative drive matched by few, the shop is continually pushing artistically, the outcome being a unique and modern take on designs and artwork.
